Who We Are
Being prepared in an emergency situation is critical. In just the last 10 years, Moorpark residents have experienced wildfires, floods, windstorms, and earthquakes.
The City of Moorpark, Ventura County Fire Department and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have joined together to assist residents with disaster preparedness education and training.
Would you know what to do if an emergency struck your community, school or workplace? After a disaster, professional responders will be needed everywhere, and their response to your home, school, or workplace is likely to be delayed.
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program teaches community members about the potential disasters that could affect their area and how to safely and responsibly respond to them.
