Who We Are

Ventura County Fire Department's Chaplains have been endorsed by their religious body and donate their time and talents to our communities and Department members.

We are a diverse group representing different faiths. All the members of our chaplain group have a desire and heart to help the public and the firefighter community.

We embrace a methodology for crisis responses tempered by our individuality and heart for service.

We bring comfort to the crisis.  There is adequate in-field training to ensure a quality response.

What We Do

Our Chaplains provide confidential, compassionate, and caring support and assistance with the spiritual needs of fire personnel and others in the community when both emergency or non-emergency situations occur.
